Foundation for Peace and Human Development (FPHD) is a non-profit organisation established in september2009, by the likeminded people from different walks of life. The foundation promotes peaceful relationship among the people, of all age at all levels, through awareness raising programs with focus on promoting equality, social justice in the society through preparing generation which is free from discrimination on the basis of religion, class, caste and gender.

The existing education system promotes religious intolerance and extremism in Pakistan and manifestation of the problem is a culture of violence and terrorism generated and supported by people preoccupied by their biases and hatred-based values, thus leading towards a society deprived of peace generating social values. Consistent with the declaration by United Nation to dedicate new millennium a Culture of Peace, FPHD is promoting peace education through educational institution by arranging Seminars and workshops for students to promote culture of peace and tolerance in the society.

 Foundation for peace and human development works at the grassroots level for the brick Kiln labour, teachers in the schools, women, social workers and clergy of different faiths. FPHD works in partnership with International and national partners. FPHD works with the community activists who raise their faith-based voice to promote compassion to their community decision-making, and FPHD helps them to develop their skills, knowledge and resources necessary for a pluralistic society.
